The Warren and Bunsay Downs Golf Clubs are rare in that between these two connected venues they provide for every type of golfing experience. The combination of Par 3 course, 9-hole pay and play, 18 hole course, and extensive coaching and practise facilities offers all golfer’s the opportunity to firstly experience, then continue to learn and finally to excel at this sport

The Warren Golf Club is host to David Brooks’ Golf Academy, and provides some of the very best practise and training facilities in the South-east. It combines over 3000m2 of grassed practise tees, a covered teaching tee, two consulting rooms equipped with the V1 Digital Coaching System, practise putting green and dedicated 6000m2 Short Game Area with three greens and two bunkers.

Our policy over the last few years has been to provide the very best combination of practise facilities, coaching expertise and an open, friendly atmosphere to attract and assist all levels of players. We have actively promoted the facility to make it available for local people of all ages and from every background to be able to experience and enjoy the game of golf.

We are proud to be able to direct and support the progression of a player from beginner to elite player, by providing the playing, practise and coaching opportunities that each level of golfer needs. A child of five who first experiences the game at The Warren can find everything they will need throughout their golfing career.

We actively support the development of young golfer’s through the provision of the Tri-golf and YMG programmes, and the facility has been extensively used over the last 9 years by the Essex Golf Union and Essex Ladies Golf Association as the training base for delivery of their County Coaching Programmes. This use of the facility has been instrumental in nurturing some of the best young amateur players in the region including Lloyd Kennedy, Oliver Fisher, Daniel Brooks and Jack Hiluta. The coaching staff includes Mickey Walker O.B.E.
